The story of the film is about Subhash Nagre (Amitabh Bachchan) after the death of both his sons Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon) and Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan). Amit Sadh and the grandson of Subhash Nagre also grab attention in the trailer. His character is powerful and promising.

On being asked if the film will court any trouble with the censors, RGV said, "'Sarkar 3' will not anger Pahlaj.
As the film's trailer portrays in this movie the 'Pink' star will be seen speaking Marathi too.
When asked his opinion Asked if he minds the constant abuse that other members of the industry are facing on a daily basis on social media, BIG B said that anybody in social media must be prepared for abuse. AB added that jokingly.
