With only 65 days left for the grand release of Baahubali 2, SS Rajamouli has released a fierce Prabhas on the auspicious eve of Maha Shivaratri in a new poster.
Baahubali 2 is currently in its post-production stage and the team is tediously and fast wrapping up the VFX portions for the film.
In November last year, SS Rajamouli released the first look poster of Baahubali 2, which has already peeked the curiosity quotient amidst the fans. It is reported that the makers are planning to unveil the theatrical trailer of the film in February. But, we await the official confirmation on the same.
Baahubali, the prequel of the franchise hit the screens in 2015, and was highly successful and grossed around Rs 600 crore worldwide. Speaking at India Today Conclave South 2017, SS Rajamouli unveiled that Baahubali 2 would be bigger and better than what Baahubali was.
The film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty and Sathyaraj is about to release on April 28th this year.
But amidst all one news took our attention is that the story of the film somewhat got leaked on social media and is being circulated virally. The secret behind the killing of Bahubali at the hands of Kattappa, was leaked online.
According to a message that is being circulated on WhatsApp about the story of Bahubali 2, the infamous mystery of why Kattappa killed Bahubali is answered. Bahubali left the viewers hanging with an open climax and the fans were desperate to find an answer. Since the sequel will take some time to release, people can’t contain their excitement for the film.
The leaked story of Bahubali 2 says that Kattappa is loyal army chief of Mahishmati kingdom. Kattappa’s ancestors have sworn to obey the orders of the Mahishpati king. Not just Kattappa, but everyone born in this kingdom be it his ancestors or the generations that would follow are meant to serve the Mahishmati royals.
Once Bahubali becomes the emperor of the kingdom, he falls in love with Devasena. The twist in the tale is that Bhallala Deva is also in love with Devasena. According to the instructions of Rajmata Shivagami, whoever marries Devasena will have to leave the empire and will be exiled. Bahubali abides to this condition and went ahead to marry Devasena and leave the kingdom.
Once Bahubali leaves the kingdom, the Kalakeya Kingdom attacks it, which forces Bahubali to return and save his people and kingdom. This suden change of scenario sparks fear in Bhallala Deva, who fears Rajmata will give reins back to Bahubali. It is when Bhallala Deva orders Kattappa to kill Bahubali. And Kattappa, under the oath of abiding the king’s order, follows the order.
